The Role:
This is a field-based role covering the whole of the UK and would suit a well organised team player who is also self-motivated and able to adapt to change. They will mainly be undertaking solar PV servicing, attending to faults and repairs however, may also get involved with assisting on new build projects.
The Company is experiencing considerable growth and has the additional benefit of being a division of the Noble Foods Business.

The ideal candidate will have several years’ experience working in a similar capacity or as an installer within the commercial Solar industry, although a domestic installer with strong technical knowledge, looking to progress, would also be considered.
We are particularly looking for a candidate who is conversant with various manufacturer’s software characteristics and possesses a willingness to keep learning.
Core duties:
- Deal with all incoming enquiries for problem resolution, identifying the appropriate course of action to remedy.
- Provide Annual Inspection testing; visit sites to check all system components to detect and prevent potential future issues.
- Conduct service and maintenance work on Solar PV rooftop and ground-mount systems and deploy Sub-Contractors where necessary
Additional duties when required dependant on availability:
- Assist sales team, carry out site surveys to scope new project requirements
- Technical Support for sub-contractors and assistance with installations.
Skills, Knowledge & experience
- Have a good understanding of health and safety legislation – minimum requirement working towards NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
- Experienced in installation/replacement of multiple inverter types such as; Solis, SMA, SolarEdge with a working knowledge of the software characteristics
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in solar PV installation – commercial.
- City & Guilds 2381 18th Edition wiring regulations
- NVQ Level 3 Electro Technical or equivalent
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing
- CSCS – Training can be provided if no current quals held
- Good time management skills and able to prioritise workloads / outputs
- Ideally MCS accredited qualification
